Signs, The Voice of God, and His Watchful Servants
This blog is about a condition that I have coined Woody Woodpecker Syndrome. I call this affliction Woody Woodpecker Syndrome in an effort to expose a mindset that I believe many of us, through television, music, environment, public primary, secondary, and collegiate educational systems, government policies, and other such methods of control, have been sociologically engineered to embrace, and in unwittingly doing so, we inevitably mark our detriment.
Background: While in prayer one evening, about four weeks prior to this posting, God allowed me to converse with my own spirit (or, for those of you that are less than spiritual, I was talking to myself) meditating on the best way to go about changing something about myself and my environment that I dearly desired to see improved. You see, my confession to our Father, and plea for deliverance centered around this thing, this mindset, this awful impairment that I feel can be best explained as Woody Woodpecker Syndrome. So what is Woody Woodpecker Syndrome? It’s a disease that if left untreated, results in utter destruction. The symptoms of Woody Woodpecker Syndrome is first, willful ignorance, which in short is a refusal to seek wisdom, obtain knowledge, and exercise intelligence. The second is, willful disobedience, which embodies co-morbidities better known as procrastination, and a rejecting of, ignoring of, or discounting of, the evidence of truth. The third is embracing the belief that there will be no consequence for refusing to treat the first and second symptoms.
Being that I am the Jreamwriter, the Revelation 1:19 writer, I will provide supporting biblical references to help establish the grounds for which I believe I‘ve been divinely instructed to relay this blog’s message; references, I hope, will help us to “see“ what is happening in secret, yet, right up in our faces… if we but open our eyes.

So, why the label, Woody Woodpecker Syndrome? Well, for many of us, it is truly disheartening to remember all the opportunities missed us due to no other reason but our failures to heed warnings, acknowledge signs, and listen to the God voice within us; that voice, as I have communicated in other blogs, which speaks to us through an insatiable unction, or strong gut feeling that, often, your heart, mind, and soul are in accordance with. This inner voice is that instinct that tells all God‘s creations, when to move, when to be still, when to watch, when to speak, when to be silent, and, in an effort to elaborate on the current relevance of this blog… when, why, and how to prepare. This voice is ever-present, only it is often us, who fail to nod, yes Father, to that divine unction. Thus, brings us to why I chose to label this blog, Woody Woodpecker Syndrome.
There were three cartoon episodes that haunted me as I was in the prayer/meditation session aforementioned in the beginning of this posting. These episodes are, of course, Woody Woodpecker cartoons, and they are titled, The Redwood Sap, Who’s Cookin Who, and Pantry Panic.

In these reels, Woody Woodpecker is depicted as a lazy slacker that disregards the warnings of his fellow woodland creatures, namely ants, beavers, chipmunks, grasshoppers, and squirrels, each of whom tell Woody that he needs to work so that he is prepared when the winter storm comes and food is scarce.
Side note: for those of you that keep up with my blogs, you know that I always stress that EVERYTHING IN THIS LIFE IS SYMBOLIC, EVERYTHING. So, when I mention animals, colors, places, seasons, etc., please examine these mentions on a symbolic level. (I.e. What do these mentions symbolize? What are their characteristics? How do they operate? What is their identified purpose?)
After watching these three particular episodes, some might deduce the key ethical message to absorb, is the importance of “working” and the consequences of not doing so. However, if we look a little deeper into why the ants, beavers, chipmunks, grasshoppers, and squirrels were working, and why they were giving Woody such words of caution and fore-warning, you will see that the real moral and ethical message isn’t about the word “work“. The message, excuse me, messages, relayed are really more along the lines of WATCH, LISTEN, and PREPARE, SO YOU CAN LATER REJOICE. The action, “work” actually falls under the umbrella of the word, “prepare”. The ants worked (prepared) all summer, collecting food, faithfully obeying the unction (instinctive, inner voice from God) telling them what to do in lieu of the inevitable winter storm. The beavers gnawed down wood to build dams and housing for themselves. The squirrels collected nuts and berries and sorted materials that could be used for warmth and to aid in their plans to survive the storm’s adverse weather and winter’s cold temperatures. My point is that all the lowly (meek and humble) woodland creatures prepared for what they knew, according to the God voice, or the instinct within them, that there would be a storm that would leave the otherwise unprepared, or under prepared, the willfully ignorant, as well as, the willfully disobedient, to face consequences such as of food scarcity, extreme temperatures, theft, neighbor turning against neighbor, violence, and no one authority to turn to for help, not even for a meager handout. Those with Woody Woodpecker Syndrome would be inevitably left to their own self-destructive devises. I use the term “inevitable” with the utmost emphasis, because just as a law is executed to instruct the Sun to rise and set and everyday, so does every other law of action and it’s responding consequence.
So, how do we diagnosis, Woody Woodpecker Syndrome? Well, we get it from the mentality Woody exhibited in the skit, Who’s Cookin Who, where Woody was reading a book about preparing for the winter storm (let’s just say that symbolically, Woody had in his hands, a book of wisdom), however, after having read of the book, Woody tossed the book to the ground, and then referred to the reading as “hogwash”, (let’s just say that symbolically, Woody takes on a spirit of willful ignorance), and when the ants, squirrels, and grasshoppers try to tell him, ‘you better prepare, winter is coming’, Woody quickly discounts their words of caution, adopting the thinking, ’it will not be that bad‘ just because everything was warm and sunny at the time in which they extended their words of advise and forewarning. Woody felt, ‘why bother preparing now, if a storm really is coming, there will be plenty of time for preparation later‘. So let’s just say that symbolically, Woody refuses instruction, discounts forewarning and words of advise, and takes on a spirit of disobedience. This, my dear loved ones, is Woody Woodpecker Syndrome, or from here on out, we‘ll abbreviate it to WWS.
So, do you, or don’t you, have WWS? In an attempt to answer that, let’s again take a moment to look back in time… As a young child, I remember walking with my mother in Harlem, New York City, New York, along the long avenues of 125 Street. Often, among other sites, I remember seeing what appeared to be homeless people, men and women, scattered about the street corners, shouting, and wearing tethered, torn, and dirty clothing, and more times than not, these people would reek of smells like sewage. In almost every instance whereby they caught my attention, they were yelling and holding up cardboard signs about the world being in its last days. They did this as we pedestrians ignored and strode by them. (Could this have been WWS?).
These vagabonds were, to us back then, crazy; the ones you ignore, the ones that society rejected and considered, lowly. However, let’s fast-forward to today. Isn’t it funny how everywhere you go, people young and old, the housed and the homeless, the rich and poor, heck, even Christians and non-Christian alike, are all now openly attesting to the times in which we are living as being… our last days? What was considered crazy, has now become the norm. Personally, I believe there are only two types of people, those that are, and operate in, the know (WWS-), and those that are not, and do not (WWS+).
The goal of any true Christian is to make sure their brothers and sisters peacefully rest in “the know“. So, I ask you this, am I, or the vessel(s) who extends this message to you, your divinely appointed, squirrels, grasshoppers, beavers, ants, and etc., irrespective of my, or our sin(s)? Are we, the vessels, merely the lowly, crazy, vagabonds? The meek and humble woodland creatures trying to afflict you with wisdom? Hmm… let’s start bringing it all together by making sure this blog’s message is in direct opposition of the despairing symptoms of WWS, and we can do this by revisiting the aforementioned biblical blueprints…
Does this message extend you wisdom, reveal a message(s) AND does the message(s) you receive coincide with our biblical blueprints?

Would it be likely (and please do listen to the voice God has placed in you to acknowledge your own convictions and seek your own confirmations) that this blog and other vessels of wisdom have been steered to you whom reads this communication, purposefully? Is it possible that, for whatever reason, the universe has aligned you with the Jreamwriter to receive a message, remembering that Christians do not believe in coincidence, according to our blueprint (the bible) which co-signs that there is no such thing as coincidence in, Romans 8:28, where this truth reads, “…we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose…”? Is it possible that, combined, these biblical codes are telling us the mindsets to avoid and the consequences of willful ignorance? And, could it be that, because that we serve a God of love, that with Him not wanting us to dwell in fear, He would reminds us that “…He did not give us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind…” – 2 Timothy 1:7. And, does God not tell us how his beloved will be cradled in, Isaiah 65:13, where He gives us (His set-aside, as defined in Psalms 4) this absolute assurance, “…my servants will eat, but you will go hungry; my servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; my servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.” And as for us vessels, the grasshoppers, ants, squirrels, beavers, and otherwise humble servants of the Lord… Isn’t it good to know that even though people may, from time to time, label us crazy, weird, recluses, rejects, black-sheep, criminals, sinners, and other such defamations which society and the hypocrites of this world reserve for those they deem as, “unworthy“; that even in our lowest moments (and hold this close to your hearts) when the world may so chose to torture us with such ugly smears, GOD SAYS …”Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth” – Matthew 5:5
Ponder on these things dear loved ones, decipher what you will, and if you can find wisdom and comfort in the words communicated, please be encouraged. Our time is promised, but we must pay attention to the signs…
